When I first saw that the 4 of Pentacles was the card for today, I did a double take and told myself to investigate further. Pentacles, like the sign of Taurus, represent the element of earth. Today, the Moon is in Taurus, and you may be wondering, ok, what is she getting at?

Things tend to slow down when the Moon, or even other energy is going through this sign. This card is representative of maintaining a certain position, but not budging. It is possible today that the spirit is willing, but the body is not necessarily cooperating. You may not make as much progress as you had hoped, and may just wish to sit and surround yourself with things like comfort food. Don’t beat yourself up over it.
