The timing of this card is indeed very interesting. Yesterday, we saw the 3 of Pentacles, bringing together groups of people to carry out specific plans. Today’s 5 of Wands is an indicator that it may not all be running that smoothly. There may be debate from all sides, wishing to contribute their thoughts and wanting things to go their way.

Perhaps this lack of harmony, in-house competition, and bickering can produce the necessary results. If everyone was the same, had the same thoughts, the same reactions, life would indeed be very boring. If you are not in this, then go pop yourself some popcorn and sit on the sidelines watching as all parties strive to be heard and come out on top.

I am from a Christian background, and still tend to like those values, but am a metaphysical astrologer trained in science who has an interest in the magic of ancient Egypt and a weird belief that some piece of our essence can live on a server. I am a reclusive lover of peace and quiet who has the Ascendant in the Via Combusta (the most conflict ridden part of the zodiac).
