Card of the Day – 8 of Cups – Thursday, June 29, 2017

Tarot by Cecelia

There must be so much more out there that you have yet to experience. The 8 of Cups is a card of moving on, and often leaving behind a great deal of nonsense. What you are turning your back on may have been wonderful at one time, but it is likely it has outlived its purpose and is not part of the new identity you seek.

A new chapter is on the horizon; it is perfectly ok to accept it. Wrap up old projects and put them to bed and be prepared to discover what lies ahead for you on your journey.

Enjoying your life is important, once you are free of any recent trappings, you are free to move forward with your plans and learning to discover more about you and the world around you.

Mannaz may be willing to be your companion on your ventures, but will also be the voice of reason, the one to help keep you grounded, just like the Fool’s companion dog will too.

With so much grounding energy around you, you should be able to make sensible choices, to be wise and considered in your decision making, and start to create something attainable and sustainable for the future you are building.

Featured Card of the Day – 7 of Swords – Joie de Vivre Tarot by Paulina Cassidy

Tarot by Cecelia

Artist: Paulina Cassidy

Website: http://www.paulina.ws

Keywords

Caution, impulsiveness, irrational, dishonesty, diplomacy.

Artist Interpretation

Running across the land with a bundle of stolen swords in his arms, Tom Foolery darts away with five stolen swords. He’s creating upheaval just for the sake of it. He’ll soon have to come to terms that he’s getting himself into a mess that won’t be worth dealing with.

Card Meaning

When you feel your life is out of control, the rebelliousness within tends to pop up out of nowhere. You may be overtaken with a sense that your actions don’t seem to make any difference, even though they do make a difference. You may want to run away in avoidance of a situation, but running away could make the circumstance worse. It’s a time to look inward and examine your own behavior toward yourself and others. Exercise caution, and identify your true allies. Take time…

Tarot Cards: Part 2: The 3 Cards People Are Most Afraid Of.

The Happenin' Hippies

When people come across the term “Tarot”, they usually get a little freaked out if they’re not familiar with them. They can tend to think of things like “The Devil” card, or the ever so famous “Death” card. Some people believe if they ever get their cards read it’s either a destined time to figure out they’re going to die, or won’t believe it at all.

Something I was seeing around while researching was in fact the fear of three basic cards. The Tower, The Devil, and Death are known to be feared by those who don’t understand the underlying meaning. Let’s start with The Tower Card, while the card is always known to look a little frightening, it simply states that disaster has just struck or you’re going through a hard time. The images were actually supposed to be frightening because they were originally created for educated nobles, as a…

Card of the Day – King of Wands – Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Tarot by Cecelia

With all of the recent cards bringing some favorable vibes to your day, it is nice to see the King of Wands appear. He is very much in charge of everything, not just himself, but his surroundings, and also those who may rely upon him for leadership. Even if you are not in a boss/manager type position, you can utilize this energy to step up and be present in your own life.

Have passion in what you are doing; this is a time of great change and you need the wisdom of this powerful King to help bring about those changes. There is a certain amount of foresight required, as in knowing what the steps should be to make things happen, for, as we all know, not all changes will occur at once.
